A 38-year-old freelance UX writer in Ambato, Ecuador who has been running trails on the Tungurahua slopes on weekends for the last five years and has run three half-marathons since 2023. Started this journal in early 2026 after a stretch of three months where she completed the runs but stopped enjoying them -- the legs were fine, the head was the problem. Has paid for two Spanish-language mental-performance courses on Hotmart since then and writes here about what each one actually did during her real training weeks. Not a coach, not a mental health professional -- just a slow amateur runner who wanted to see if the mental side could be trained the same way her legs were.
